This Loft had been previously converted but without forming a dormer so the space couldn't be fully utilised to its full potential, so we stripped it out back to the bare bones and started again, maximising the space with a large spacious master bedroom, generous ensuite and walk-in wardrobe.

With the old TDA roof trusses still in place the room was cut off with limited place for a bed.

With the house exposed to the elements, the race is on to frame up the dormer and get some temporary weatherproofing precautions in place, luckily this loft was completed in the summer!
External Stud walls framed, time to begin the flat roof!
With the bones of the structure formed, we sheet up with a few tarpaulins, just in case.
Once the frame work is boarded and membraned,
We ensure the new structure is tied in with the remains of the existing structure. This means we can begin to cut away the old roof structure, and really see how much space has been gained.

A room with a view! Fascia and soffit complete, ready for the EPDM roof to be installed, with a 50 year life span!

EPDM Rubber roof complete. Window and Juliette balcony Installed. Virtually water tight we can now begin framing out the inside.
Stud wall to create walk in wardobe.
Framing Complete plumbing and electrical First Fix Complete. We then begin to close up ready for plastering. Insulation and Plasterboard.
Tiling started in the en-suite.
Drawer Units installed in Walk in Wardrobe ready for flooring finishes.
